Twin Capstan Decoiler (20,000 kg Capacity)
Designed to support continuous production, the twin capstan decoiler handles up to 20,000kg of coil capacity across two arms.
When one coil is depleted, the system rotates 180° around its axis, allowing a rapid switch to the second coil and significantly reducing changeover time while keeping production interruptions to a minimum.
Automation & Material Flow Adjustments
To maintain continuous production at high capacity, the automation logic and material flow were adapted specifically for this line. Coil handling, profile transfer, and downstream movement were optimized to reduce manual intervention and eliminate unnecessary stops, ensuring stable and predictable throughout the entire production process.
Flared Service Hole Punch
This project required a non-standard punching solution to improve structural performance around service openings. The Flared Service Hole punch forms a circular service hole while bending the inner edges inward to create a reinforced lip. Unlike standard service holes that reduce section capacity, this geometry increases local stiffness around the opening.
Flared Service Hole provides structural integrity to the member, allowing services to pass through without compromising load-bearing performance.
Enhanced Outfeed Conveyor with Sensor Control
To improve downstream handling and operator safety, this project included an advanced conveyor system beyond standard outfeed solutions.
Using integrated sensors and machine communication, the conveyor detects completed profiles and gently transfers them to a clear handling zone with the pneumatic system at the right moment. This allows production to continue without unnecessary interruptions while giving operators a safer, more controlled, and more efficient way to manage profiles after forming.
